The inaugural climate action conference took place on 8th March 2022 under the theme; Connecting Minds, Securing the Planet. Tana Water Works Development Agency joined Senior Government officials, policy makers, industry leaders, development Partners, and other stakeholders in discussing measures to help boost adaptation to global climatic changes, capacity-building opportunities and making calls to action on the adverse effects of climate change. 200 tree seedlings were also planted as part of the initiative to conserve Kenya’s water catchment areas
