TWWDA held a road safety mainstreaming training for our staff and bodaboda riders from water service providers in our Agency area: NYEWASCO, MAWASCO, TEAWASCO and OMWASCO facilitated by NTSA in the commemoration of the UN Road Safety Week. The workshop was culminated by a roadshow around Nyeri CBD involving motorcycle operators sensitizing matatu operators, pedestrians & general public on the 6th UN Global Road Safety campaign whose theme is streets for life. The campaign seeks to support the streets for life call to action joining the global movement for low speeds where people walk, play & live, to deliver 30Km/hr speed limits in urban areas, school zones & residential areas so as to prevent road traffic injury.
