TWWDA held a roadsafety mainstreaming training for our staffs and bodaboda riders from our water service providers in our area; NYEWASCO, OMWASCO, TEAWASCO, and MAWASCO facilitated by NTSA in the commemoration of the UN Road safety week. The workshop was culminated by the road show around Nyeri CBD involving motorcycle operators, pedestrians and general public on the 6th UN Global Road Safety campaign whose theme is streets for life. The campaign seeks to campaign for streets for life call to action joining the global movement for low speeds where people walk, play and live, to deliver 30km/hr speed limits in urban areas, school zones & residential areas so as to prevent bad traffic injury.
