Tana Water Works Development Agency (TWWDA) was honoured to take part in the Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation Conference and Exhibition, held on 8^th May, 2025 in partnership with the Nation Media Group. The event brought together sector leaders, policymakers, development partners, and practitioners to deliberate on sustainable approaches to water, sanitation, and irrigation management.

The conference featured a series of engaging sessions covering critical topics such as water security, sustainable resource management, and innovations in service delivery. Delegates had the opportunity to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and explore collaborative pathways towards shaping a more sustainable future.

TWWDA’s Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Philip Gichuki, MBS, joined a high-level panel discussion where he emphasized the urgent need to shift away from the “business as usual” approach in the sector. He underscored the importance of inclusive stakeholder engagement to reduce water losses and enhance sustainable access to water and sanitation services across Kenya.
