Former Cabinet Secretary Ministry Of Water, Sanitation and Irrigation Hon. Alice Muthoni Wahome had a series of activities in Embu County on 19^th July, 2023.

Hon Alice Muthoni Wahome commenced her visit with a courtesy call to the County Commissioner and the Governor of Embu County, Hon. Cecily Mbarire MGH.

Following the meetings, she proceeded to the commissioning of the Itabua Secondary School borehole. The CS then presided over  the groundbreaking of Ena – Siakago Muminji Water Project. To conclude her tour the CS an alumni of Siakago Girls Secondary School, retraced her footsteps back to her alma mater. There, she officiated the commissioning of a Siakago Girls borehole.

The CS was accompanied by Hon Cecily Mbarire MGH , governor Embu County, Justus Mugo Deputy governor Embu, Ruku GK,  MP Mbeere North, Tana Water Works Development Agency Chairperson Wanyaga Gathaka and CEO Eng. Philip Gichuki alongside several other esteemed leaders.
