Tana Water Works Development Agency (TWWDA) proudly participated in the 6th Engineering Partnerships Convention (EPC 2025) held under the theme “Engineering a Digital World.” The convention brought together industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, and professionals to explore the role of engineering in driving sustainable development in a rapidly digitalizing world.

During the official opening ceremony, we were honoured to host Eng. Festus K. Ng’eno, Principal Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Climate Change & Forestry, and Eng. John Kipchumba Tanui, Principal Secretary, Ministry of Information, Communications & the Digital Economy, who visited the TWWDA exhibition stand alongside other distinguished delegates. The visit highlighted the Agency’s commitment to embracing technology and innovation in water and sanitation service delivery.

At our stand, we showcased TWWDA’s advances in water infrastructure and digital integration, including the use of smart systems and innovative approaches to enhance efficiency, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

In addition to exhibiting, TWWDA hosted a breakaway session that focused on fostering synergy among sectors that rely heavily on water resources, including irrigation, hydropower generation, and domestic supply. The session emphasized the importance of integrated planning and cross-sector collaboration in ensuring sustainable water resource management while fuelling socio-economic growth.

Our participation in EPC 2025 reaffirmed TWWDA’s role as a key player in advancing Kenya’s water sector through innovation, partnerships, and technology-driven solutions.
